Campero CXLI is the quintessential representative of the classical, baroque PRE. Bred in Spain, this exceptional stallion was imported in in 2024 by The Pearman Ranch. His unique silhouette and incredible movement earned him internet fame as people followed his journey to the United States.
Campero trots level barefoot with incredible hind leg engagement and the most upright neck we have ever seen on a PRE. He is incredibly short backed with a flexible poll. His best features, however, are his incredible temperament and trainability. He is quiet enough for the junior or amateur rider, accepts new challenges readily, and is adaptable to new environments and handlers.
We selected Campero with the anticipation that he would prove to be an incredible cross with Arabians. He is expressive, charismatic, athletic, with an exceptional length of neck. He offers the baroque qualities rarely found in the modern PRE horse, making him an important outcross for breeders seeking baroque type featured in classical artwork.
