Overlook Jezebel is a stunning 2009 daughter of the late, many time national champion stallion DA Valentino. She is an excellent representative of her sire’s distinctive look: she has incredible stretch, style, and bone. Jezebel also has the trot and attitude her legendary dam line is known for. Jezebel is a decorated show mare that brings a new dimension to our program.
DA Valentino needs little introduction. He was Scottsdale Champion and US National Champion many years over. Though he passed away early in his career as a sire, he has sired numerous world and national champions (in halter and performance) including: Donna Molta Bella SRA, Vitorio TO, Polidoro FC, and Vicario to name just a small selection.
Overlook Jezebel is out of US National Top 10 mare Overlook Jubilee who was by Triple Crown National Champion Echo Magnifficoo. Overlook Jubilee is out of US National Top 10 Felcia Psyche, a daughter of Reserve National Champion Padrons Psyche, and dam of international champions including Bronze Champion Mare Dana Al Mohamadia and China’s first Silver Champion Stallion Vialiant (also by DA Valentino). Felcia Psyche is out of Scottsdale Reserve Champion mare VH Starlett, who was a national champion producer. Starlett’s female line winds through influential sires such as Solstice, Strike, Barbary, Khemosabi, and Serafix.
In summation, Jezebel is the epitome of classic American type and her pedigree reads like a roadmap of some of the greatest Arabian show horses in the history of United States.
Jezebel’s first two fillies by ROL Intencyty (exported) and Kanz Albidayer show promise as show and breeding fillies.
In 2019 we plan to breed Overlook Jezebel to AO Breeze and campaign her as a senior mare in the show ring. She is also in the process of being broke to ride.
