HRA Marquesa is a powerhouse mover with incredible presence, a long neck, large eyes, and excellent tail carriage. She is by leading sire HA Toskcan Sun+ who is a multi-National Champion in his own right with wins in English Pleasure, Driving, and Park. HA Toskcan Sun+ is by Scottsdale Champion Baske Afire who set a record for selling for $2.8 million at public auction. He has been a chart-leading sire across multiple divisions (even beyond his passing).
Marquesa’s dam, JR Mata Hari, has been a superstar broodmare in her own right producing: Reserve National Champion Country horse Pop Muzik, US National Top 10 Park/AEPA Heirs Devotion, National Top 10 English Pleasure Marlene LR, Mid Summer National Champion Country HRA Marti Gras (full sibling to HRA Marquesa), and multi Reserve National Champion Country Captain Hook HRA (full sibling to HRA Marquesa).
JR Mata Hari is a daughter of multi-National Champion Park horse Appollopalooza, a leading sire of show horses and broodmares. Her dam is Matariaelle Girl, Regional winning Park Horse and a Reserve National Champion producer. Matariaelle Girl is by multi-national champion park horse Zodiac Matador+ and out of a daughter of the great broodmare sire Ariston.
HRA Marquesa is bred to produce motion and we are incorporating her into our program in our quest to produce top-quality, purpose bred half-Arabians by our baroque stallions. We look forward to breeding her for a 2025 foal by Fonzie SA. Inquiries invited.
